These beautifully hand crafted swords are exact historic replicas of their perspective owners. Each one is made to the highest standard of quality and features a Historical Information Card about its owner. This amazing set is a necessity for any serious collector. Each sword is presented for display on a single stand with the Japanese word for Samurai monogrammed in gold along the base. The sword then sits respectfully on its stand and is flanked to the left or right by its historical information card. Together all six swords span a period of 150 years, and tell of the troubles of feudal Japan. Uesugi Kenshin
Uesugi Kenshin, 1530, was a warlord who ruled Echigo Province in the Sengoku period of Japan. In 1548 Kenshin became the owner of the castle of Haruyama and was engaged in the Battle of Kawanakajima with Takeda Shingen

Takeda Shingen, 1521, of Shinano and the Kai Provinces was a preeminent daimyo who fought for control of Japan during the Warring States period. He fought along side Uesugi Kenshin in many famous battles..

Oda Nobunaga
Oda Nobunaga, 1534, was a major daimyo during the Sengoku period of Japanese history and was the son of Oda Nobuhide, a minor warlord with meager land holding in the Owari Province. He lived his life in continuous military conquest, and eventually conquered most of Japan before his mysterious death in 1582.

Toyotomi Hideyoshi
Toyotomi Hideyoshi, 1536, was the Japanese General who united Japan. He succeeded his former liege, Oda Nobunaga. Later he invaded Korea. He was known for a number of cultural legacies. The period he ruled is called Momoyama.

Tokugawa Leyasu, 1543, was the founder of the Tokugawa Shogunate of Japan, and is commonly known as one of the Three great unifiers of feudal Japan.

Date Masamune
Date Masamune, 1567, was one of the leading Daimyo in the Tohoku region of Japan. At age 18, he succeeded his father from the position of Numbedaimyo. Shortly afterwards a Date herald named Sadatsuna defected to the Ashins of the Aziu region.
